Dunajec Rafting

Our property is just 8 km away from the charming Dunajec Gorge.

Flowing through the Pieniny Mountains, the Dunajec creates a winding, rocky gorge about 9 kilometers long. The gorge is surrounded by several-hundred-meter-high walls, whose limestone cliffs beautifully complement the forests growing on them. The unique landscape of this corner attracts crowds of tourists from all over the world to the Dunajec every year, and the rafting through the Dunajec Gorge is undoubtedly the biggest tourist attraction in the Pieniny Mountains.

The Dunajec rafting starts at the lumberjack dock in Sromowce-Kąty. The rafting route has two final stops: Szczawnica or Krościenko. The Sromowce Kąty – Szczawnica route is 18 kilometers long and takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete. The route to Krościenko is 5 kilometers longer and takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
