ECO Active Resort Pieniny Rules
§ 1
Subject of the Regulations
- The Regulations define the rules for providing services, responsibilities, and staying on the territory of Eco Active Resort Pieniny.
- The Regulations are an integral part of the agreement concluded by signing the registration card, as well as by making a reservation or paying a deposit or full amount for the stay.
- By performing the above-mentioned actions, the Guest confirms that they have read and accept the terms of the Regulations.
- The Regulations apply to all persons staying on the territory of Eco Active Resort Pieniny.
- The Regulations are available for review at the Reception and an extract from the Regulations is available in every room.
- Pictogram and information signs placed on the premises and around the facility form an integral part of the Regulations. Users are obliged to strictly comply with the information displayed on the pictogram and information signs.
§ 2
Day
- A room at Eco Active Resort Pieniny is rented by the day.
- The day lasts from 16:00 to 11:00 the following day.
- If the Guest has not specified the length of stay when renting the room, it is assumed that the room was rented for one day.
- Staying in the room after 12:00 is treated as an extension of the stay for a given day.
If the Guest leaves the room after 12:00 – a fee is charged according to the applicable price list. - Information about fees for extending the day is provided by the Reception.
- The Guest should submit a request to extend the day at the Reception as soon as possible and at least by 10:00 on the day the rental period expires.
- The Resort will consider a request to extend the stay subject to room availability. The facility may refuse a request to extend the stay if all beds are occupied or if the Guest does not comply with the current Regulations.
- The Resort reserves the right to refuse to extend the Guest's stay if full payment for the current stay has not been made in advance.
- If the Guest cancels the stay during the day, the fee for the stay for that day is non-refundable.
If the cancellation during the stay concerns more than one day, a fee of 50% of the accommodation value applies for each additional cancelled day. - The Reception is available 24/7. However, please arrive early so that check-in takes place no later than 23:00. In case of no-show, the paid deposit is non-refundable.
§ 3
Check-in
- Check-in at the Resort is equivalent to acceptance of the Eco Active Resort Pieniny regulations.
- A prerequisite for a Guest to check in is showing a photo ID to the Reception staff and signing the registration card or clearly filling out and signing the registration card. If a Guest refuses to present a document allowing check-in, the Resort has the right to refuse check-in.
- If the Guest is checked in without providing an identity document, they are obliged to pay in advance for all reserved services – such as accommodation, parking, or pet fees. In such a case, the room's credit limit is blocked and can only be unlocked after a prepayment up to the amount of the prepayment.
- Payment for the stay is made by the Guest on the day of arrival at the Resort (in advance).
- The room account is blocked. To unblock the room credit account, a one-time authorization form must be completed,
providing data such as card number, expiration date, and cardholder's name. The card data provided by the Guest to unblock the account must allow payments without physical use of the card. The Resort undertakes to securely store the Guest's card data and after departure, upon checking for any outstanding dues, the data will be permanently destroyed. Unlocking the room credit limit without providing proper card data is possible only with the consent of the Resort Management or an authorized representative. - By signing the bill, the Guest undertakes to pay it. All complaints related to a given bill should be submitted at the office of the company providing the service for which the bill was issued. The facility is not a party
in complaints concerning services provided by other entities even if the Guest pays for these services via the room bill. - The Resort may refuse service to a Guest who grossly violated the regulations during a previous stay,
in particular causing damage to the facility's property or other Guests' property, causing harm to a Guest, employee, or others on the premises, or otherwise disrupting the peaceful stay of other Guests or the operation of the facility. - During check-in, the Reception also issues a room key. Every Guest is obliged to return the key no later than at check-out. A fee of 50 PLN applies for lost keys.
- The Guest may not transfer the room to other persons, even if the paid period for the stay has not expired.
- Unregistered persons may visit the facility premises from 8:00 to 22:00.
After 22:00, unregistered persons are not allowed on the Resort premises. - Staying of unregistered persons in the Guest's room after 22:00 is equivalent to the Guest allowing paid additional lodging of these persons in the room. The fee for each additional person will be charged according to the current adult extra bed price available at the Reception, provided the facility agrees to their further stay in the room.
§ 4
Booking a stay
- Booking a stay at the Resort is carried out in accordance with the applicable Reservation Regulations, which are available
for review at the Reception. - If a deposit has been paid in advance, the Guest's failure to arrive at the facility by 6:00 am the next day (arrival on the second day) means cancellation of the stay unless the Guest notified the Resort in advance by phone, in writing, or via email recepcja@ecoactiveresort.com
- If the Guest does not cancel the room reservation after paying the deposit, the fee for the first day is deducted from the deposit, and if the room cannot be resold, the deposit is forfeited in full.
- If a reservation is made without a deposit, failure to arrive at the Resort by 18:00 on the day of arrival is considered a cancellation and the room may be rented to another Guest unless otherwise agreed.
- If the Guest does not cancel the room reservation by 18:00 on the day of arrival and provides a payment card number, the Resort charges a fee for one night's stay.
§ 6
Quiet hours
- Quiet hours at the Resort are from 22:00 to 7:00.
- During quiet hours, Guests and users of the facility services are obligated to behave in a manner that does not disturb the peace of other guests.
- In the event of a violation of the Regulations, the Resort may refuse service to the offending person. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the facility's requests, settle payments for services provided, pay for any damages, and leave the Resort.
- In case of quiet hours violation, Eco Active Resort Pieniny reserves the right to impose a fine of 500 PLN.
§ 7
Resort Services and Obligations
- The Resort provides services according to its category and standard.
- If there are any complaints regarding the quality of services, the Guest is requested to report them to the Reception as soon as possible to enable immediate reaction.
- The Resort undertakes to provide:
- conditions for full and unrestricted rest of the Guest,
- safety during the stay, including confidentiality of Guest information,
- professional and courteous service in the scope of provided services,
- carrying out necessary equipment repairs during the Guest's absence and, if the Guest is present, only upon their request,
- technically efficient service;
- In case of malfunctions that cannot be resolved, the facility will try to – as far as possible – change the room or otherwise mitigate the inconvenience.
- The Resort provides bathrobes free of charge, which are available in the room. Bathrobes are not allowed in restaurants and areas designated for children.
- At the Guest's request, the Resort provides the following free services:
- providing information related to stay and travel,
- wake-up calls at a designated time,
- delivering correspondence for Guests,
- safe keeping of money and valuables in the safe during the stay up to the value of 10,000 PLN,
- luggage storage for registered Guests,
- taxi ordering,
- iron and ironing board lending,
- access to wireless Internet,
- use of paid parking (fee is 20 PLN per day and should be settled at the Reception),
- use of the Wellness Zone (pool, jacuzzi, dry and steam sauna, salt grotto, cardio room),
- booking additional services.
§ 8
Guest Obligations
- When leaving the room, the Guest should close the windows, turn off water taps, and check that the door is locked.
- Guests are obliged to read and follow the fire safety instructions available in the room and at the Reception.
- For fire safety reasons, the use of heaters, electric irons, and similar devices not provided as equipment is prohibited in the rooms, as well as open flames, smoking tobacco, tobacco products, and other substances.
- In case of unjustified fire alarm activation, the Guest will be charged for intervention costs of the Fire Department and Police.
- Dangerous items such as weapons and ammunition, flammable, explosive, and illuminating materials may not be stored in the rooms.
- Smoking tobacco and other substances is strictly prohibited throughout the Resort. Smoking tobacco and tobacco products is allowed only in designated areas.
- Breaking the ban on smoking tobacco, tobacco products, or other substances in the room is equivalent to the Guest consenting to cover cleaning and deodorizing costs of 2000 PLN.
- Carrying skis, snowboards, ski boots, and other skiing or snowboarding equipment, bicycles, as well as walking in ski boots within the facility is prohibited.
- The Resort has a ski room – designated rooms where ski and snowboard equipment can be stored, changed, and dried.
- Bringing bicycles and similar vehicles into the rooms is prohibited.
- Solicitation and mobile sales as well as leafleting on the premises are prohibited.
- Excessive noise and other disturbances that bother or harm other Guests are prohibited.
- Making any changes to the rooms and their equipment is forbidden, except minor rearrangement of furniture and equipment, not affecting functionality or safety.
- Throwing any objects out of room windows is prohibited.
- Sitting on window sills, balcony railings is prohibited due to risk of falling.
- In case of violation of the Regulations, the Resort may refuse service to the offending person. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the facility's requests, settle payments for services provided, pay for any damages, and leave the Resort.
- Guests are obliged to provide the registration number of the car left in the parking lot or garage belonging to the Resort at the Reception.
§ 9
Guest Responsibility
- The Guest is fully financially responsible for any damage or destruction of equipment and technical devices caused by them or persons visiting them.
- Children under 12 years of age should be continuously supervised by legal guardians while on the Resort premises.
- Guardians bear financial responsibility for any damages caused by children.
- The Guest should report any damages to the Reception immediately after noticing them.
§ 10
Resort Responsibility
- The Resort is responsible for loss or damage of items brought by persons using its services within the scope specified by civil law.
- Liability for loss or damage to money, securities, valuables, or items having scientific or artistic value is limited if such items are not deposited.
- The Resort has the right to refuse to accept money, valuables, and valuable items for safekeeping,
especially valuables and items of scientific or artistic value if they pose a safety risk or are too valuable relative to the facility size or standard or take too much space. - The Resort is not responsible for damage or loss of guest vehicles, items left inside, or live animals regardless of whether the vehicle is parked in a garage, parking lot, or outside the facility.
- Selected areas of the Resort are monitored.
§ 11 Return of left items
- Personal items left in the room by a departing Guest will be sent to the address provided by the Guest at their expense.
- If no instructions are received from the Guest, the Resort will store the items for 3 months.
§ 12
Complaints
- Guests have the right to file complaints if they notice deficiencies in the quality of services provided by the Resort.
- All complaints are received by the Reception.
- Complaints should be submitted by the Guest immediately after noticing any shortcomings in the service standards.
- Complaints will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
§ 13
Pets stay
- Eco Active Resort Pieniny accepts Guests with their pets – domestic animals. Acceptance of a pet must be notified at the time of room reservation. Approval for a pet to stay at the facility is issued by the Resort Management.
- The price is individually determined depending on the species and size of the animal.
- Only domestic animals are allowed. Management will consider the animal’s temperament and training in the decision to accept pets.
- Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration on the list of dog breeds.
- Animals should be kept in rooms. Dogs and other potentially dangerous animals must be walked on a leash and muzzled, under the care of the owner or authorized person.
- Owners must observe common rules: pets are not allowed in dining, recreational areas, and children's playgrounds.
- Owners must provide bedding for their animals.
- If the bedding in the room where the animal stays is soiled (fur, mud) or damaged, the owner is obliged to buy a whole set of bedding at current prices offered by the Linen Supplier for the Resort.
- Cat owners must have a litter box with sand and empty it into a plastic bag which will then be disposed of in a container designated by the facility staff.
- No animal should be left alone in the room for longer than required by its physiological needs. If Resort staff reasonably suspect that the animal left in the room disturbs other guests, damages property, or may cause threat to itself or others, Management will attempt to contact the owner to solve the issue. If contact is impossible, the Resort reserves the right for staff, with possible assistance of appropriate services, to enter the guest's room and remove the animal. All costs incurred will be charged to the owner.
- Owners are responsible for their pets maintaining silence and not disturbing other guests. In case of repeated complaints from other guests or staff, the facility reserves the right to remove the animal from the Resort.
- All damages to the property of the Resort or other guests caused by pets will be assessed by Management and charged to the owners.
§ 14
Catering
- Guests are prohibited from taking food out of the restaurant. Any items taken out will be charged additionally.
- Entering the restaurant in bathrobes and swimwear is not allowed.
- Entry in ski boots or with pets is prohibited.
- Bringing and consuming own food and alcoholic beverages is prohibited (a corkage fee applies after prior arrangement with the manager).
- A "quiet zone" is designated during breakfasts for adults.
§ 15
Additional provisions
- The Guest consents to the storage and processing of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Journal of Laws 2002, no. 101, item 926 with later amendments) by Eco Active Resort Pieniny for purposes necessary to fulfil the Guest's stay at the Resort, check-in purposes, the use of other services provided by the facility, and inclusion of the Guest's data in the Resort database. The Guest has the right to access and correct their personal data.
- Complaints and suggestions related to stay should be reported directly to the Reception in writing, via e-mail recepcja@ecoactiveresort.com or by mail to Eco Active Resort Pieniny, ul. Zamkowa 6, 34-436 Czorsztyn.
- The entity responsible for the operation of Eco Active Resort Pieniny is: Zakład Pralniczy Stanisław Waksmundzki 34-431 Waksmund, ul. Długa 73, NIP: 7350002345, REGON 490645349.
§ 16
Annexes to the regulations
Integral parts of these Regulations are also the regulations defining the rules of use of particular attractions or additional services provided by the Resort.
