Lake Cruises
The Czorsztyn Lake, located in the buffer zone of the Pieniny National Park, is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Pieniny mountains. The lake, with a shoreline nearly 30 km long, was created during the construction of a dam on the Dunajec River in Niedzica. Today, it offers opportunities for water-based recreation: swimming, diving, sailing, and fishing. Overlooking the lake are the silhouettes of two medieval castles – in Czorsztyn and Niedzica.
Gondola cruises on Czorsztyn Lake are a unique and unparalleled experience. Gondolas operate daily from May 1 to September 30, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the high season and from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM off-season. Bicycles can be transported on the gondolas, and pets are welcome.
After the cruise, we invite you to the Jędruś marina in Czorsztyn, which offers many ways to spend time by the picturesque Czorsztyn Lake. In addition to gondola cruises on the "Czorsztynianki" gondolas, there is the possibility to rent kayaks, pedal boats, and boats for anglers.
For the youngest guests, “Jędruś” has prepared a wonderful playground with the region's only large pirate ship – an inflatable slide. A second pool intended for children up to 12 years old also features a slide. Additional attractions include air balls and a trampoline. Entry to the playground is included in the gondola ticket price for passengers.
