Bicycle Rental Terms and Conditions
- The rented bicycles are the property of Eco Active Resort Pieniny, ul. Zamkowa 6, 34-436 Czorsztyn.
- The bicycles are equipped with reflective lighting, a bell, and a security cable (optional). Upon customer's request, also a child bike seat.
- The rented bicycle is in technical working order and must be returned to the rental in the same condition.
- To rent a bicycle you must:
- present an ID card or two other photo IDs,
- be an adult and sober,
- sign a rental agreement accepting the rental terms,
- pay a deposit to cover possible damages incurred during the use of the bicycle,
- pay the rental fee.
- The renter is personally responsible for the rented bicycle.
- It is forbidden to transfer the bicycle to third parties.
- The renter waives all claims against the rental regarding accidents, damages, or injuries occurring during the use of the bicycle rental.
- If the bicycle is left outside the rental location, it must be secured against theft.
- The person renting the bicycle bears full responsibility for damages from the moment of rental until its return.
- In case of bicycle theft, the renter must immediately notify the Police and then present the theft report confirmation to the reception.
- The renter bears the full cost of the stolen bicycle or its repair.
- The rental is not responsible for hidden defects.
- The rental fee is collected in advance.
- The refundable deposit for renting one bicycle is 100 PLN.
- If the staff considers a customer unreliable, they may refuse to rent a bicycle without giving a reason.
- The bicycle must be returned to the rental at the declared and paid for time.
- Late return of the fee will result in an additional charge according to the price list.
- Equipment must be returned clean. In case of returning dirty rental objects, the guest is obliged to pay a cleaning fee of 50 PLN gross.
